ST. PAUL, Minn., March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Minnesota students in grades
kindergarten through six are invited to enter an original drawing, poem, essay
or video for a chance to win $2,500 for college. Students enter by answering
the question "How will I change the world after I go to college?" The Dream
Out Loud Challenge is sponsored by the Minnesota's 529 College Savings Plan,

The United States Department of Justice reported that a Las Vegas man, 47 year old Darryl Scott Nichols, plead guilty for his role to fraudulently gain control of Homeowners Associations (HOA) for the purposes of redirecting expenditure awards.

According to the USDOJ press release, Nichols admitted that he used straw purchasers to get mortgages in HOA communities then ran for high-ranking positions on the board of those HOA associations in order to have the authority to re-direct funds to a list of conspiring contractors in exchange for monetary compensation.

A Las Vegas teenaged male named Javier Righetti is incarcerated awaiting murder charges after the body of 15-year-old Alyssa Otremba was found burned in the Las Vegas Valley.

Righetti is being held without bail and faces charges of murder with a deadly weapon, sexual assault with a deadly weapon, first-degree kidnapping with a deadly weapon and robbery with a deadly weapon.

Chief Deputy District Attorney Giancarlo Pesci did not say if he was going to seek the death penalty in this case.
